I never appreciate Thai food until I didn't have my mom cook for me.
My first love of cooking Thai food started when I came to study away from home.
However, I had experience in baking and cake decorating from family business.
I practiced and studied a lot about Thai food
I had own my own Thai restaurant in 1999.
Later on, I attended Grossmont College Culinary Art Program and graduated in 2005
I won First place in Iron Chef Competition in class.
Culinary School has teach me a lot, I incorporate Western cooking technique to my Thai food cooking
and that even make me understand more about cooking Thai food
After 13 successful years of my first Thai restaurant in East side of San Diego,
I decided to expand my kitchen of Thai food to different area.
And here we are in Oceanside, where we choose to be our new home.
Savory Thai restaurant Oceanside would be another chapter of my food journey.
From one neighbor's kitchen to another,
I'd like to introduce you to my family's recipe of Thai food
which some of them derive from the mixture of our family's cultures
and other Countries in Southeast Asia.
Now, the world is smaller, I am able to get the best ingredients
from my hometown easily for the dishes I want to serve my customers.
Hence, I dedicate to offering only the finest and freshest foods.
I, as an owner and an Executive Chef with 20 years experience in culinary world
have also taken great care in assembling a team of only the best experienced kitchen
and dining staffs to serve you.
